Recently, our outreach team went to a local store here in Somerset to share our faith with the people of our community. After praying, I came upon a young couple, whom I felt that God wanted me to minister. They seemed to be some-what unhappy.
To be truthful, I walked passed them to look for someone more amenable or receptive of the testimony I wanted to share. I walked around the entire store and found the same couple in my path again. As I approached, I heard a loud outburst as the man turned away and walked around a corner. Tears were streaming down the lady’s cheek when I asked, if I could pray with her and her family. She responded, “please pray.” We did.
While we were praying, the young man returned, I took his hand, he bowed his head and immediately, God moved in the most powerful way, almost instantaneously mending the broken heart and bringing the family together again. The couple thanked me over and over, but I asked them to give all the thankfulness and appreciation to Jesus, because it is He who loves you so much that He directed me to share His love with the two of you and your little boy. God doesn’t just show up, He is always there. Praise God!
